Heritage Open Days – ‘Out of Bounds’ Tours

We are back to an in-person event again this year on Saturday 18th September with a chance for you to visit the main body of the church which is has not yet been restored. This area is normally out of bounds due to uneven flooring, lack of accessibility, large amounts of dust and it’s ‘work in progress’ status. Pre booked tours only. Experience the true size of the interior, the original box pews and how much they would cost to rent. The recently completed restoration work is part of a phased programme, and we now look forward to future possibilities. Only a small portion of the church is currently publically accessible for safety reasons, but these limited guided tours will give you the opportunity to see the rest of the old worship area.
