Social Saturdays at Wycliffe

Following our successful opening event in June we are now ready to begin regular ‘Social Saturdays’ – a chance to relax with a drink, cake and chat in our newly restored community/worship area.

The first event will take place on August 7th from 10.30am – 1.30pm, with the refreshments kindly donated by Asda Reddish! Social Saturdays will then run on the first Saturday of the month. All are welcome, and if anyone feels they could help out for a short time, we would love to hear from you.

Heritage Open Days

Last year’s Heritage Open Days offer was limited to the web (the addition of the photographs of the Sunday School Register to our website) but all being well we will be able to conduct tours again this year. In a similar vein to 2019, tours to see the unrestored worship area will be available for booking. This area is usually out of bounds due to it’s uneven floors, inaccessibility, and large amounts of dust so those wishing to book are advised to wear sensible shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! Details have not yet been finalised but we are planning for Saturday the 18th September – a booking link will be avilable on this site.

Paramount Boxing Club

Work is well under way in the basement which will allow Paramount Boxing Club to return and continue their amazing work with local young people and adults. They are scheduled to open in September if all goes to plan. More details on this nearer the time.
